Behaviour Support Assistant - Bury (BL9)
Monarch Education is working with a primary school in Bury to find a Behaviour Support Assistant. The role involves working 1:1 with a Year 2 child who may exhibit disruptive behaviour due to frustration and engagement difficulties. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, supporting the child in class and throughout the day. The successful candidate must register with Monarch Education before starting; the school is willing to wait for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have skills to defuse and redirect attention, foster a calming presence, and build positive relationships. Experience working 1:1 with pupils, safeguarding, and behavioural management knowledge in KS1/primary settings are required.
