Teaching Personnel are seeking a Behaviour Support Mentor to join our partner pupil referral unit in Swansea. You will provide 1-1 and small group support to learners with challenging behaviour, working KS1–KS4 and assisting with trips and transitions back to mainstream settings.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30, paid at £14.30 per hour. A resilient approach and safeguarding awareness are essential; DBS and EWC support available.

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Teaching Assistants to join our partner pupil referral unit, working with learners with challenging behaviour. Offering 1 -1, 2-1 and small group support.
Working within a pupil referral unit, you will be required to work with learner’s form KS1 – KS4.
You will be required to support them within a classroom setting, and with outside school trips.
You will work alongside the Teacher and help plan and provide classroom work.
While your main duties are within the unit, while working with learners there will be an expectation that you go to their mainstream school alongside them, to assist with their transition back into a mainstream setting as that is the primary goal for learners with the unit.
While a very rewarding role, this job opportunity will offer varied challenges and will need a resilient Behaviour Support Mentor to provide the correct and best support with learners and work to improve behaviour.
Successful applicants will be subject to a registration call, following the success of this call the next stage will be an interview within our Swansea Branch. If successful at interview and completing out vetting process, you will be offered the opportunity to join Teaching Personnel.
