Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a school in Boston. This role focuses on helping pupils develop positive behaviours, engage with learning, and build relationships within the school.

You will work with teaching and pastoral teams to monitor progress while maintaining calm, consistent approaches in challenging situations. Ideal candidates have experience supporting children with challenging behaviour and a background in schools or similar

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
• Experience in a school, alternative provision, youth work or similar setting would be beneficial.
• Patience, resilience and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Confident in establishing appropriate boundaries while maintaining positive relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs would be advantageous.

GSL Education is seeking a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a school in Boston.

Are you confident supporting children and young people who may display challenging behaviour? Do you have the patience, resilience and communication skills needed to help pupils overcome barriers to learning?

GSL Education is looking for a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a school in Boston. This role would suit someone who has experience working with pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional or pastoral support and who can remain calm and consistent in challenging situations.

You will work alongside teaching staff and the wider pastoral team to help pupils develop positive behaviours, improve their engagement with learning and build stronger relationships within the school environment.
