Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Specialist SEN Support Assistant to support a pupil with complex needs in a primary school in the BS5 area. The role involves one-to-one support, implementing personalised behaviour plans, de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies, and helping the pupil access learning alongside teachers and the SENCO.
The position starts next term and offers weekly pay and ongoing support.

We are working closely with a supportive primary school in the BS5 areato recruit a dedicated Behaviour Specialist SEN Support Assistant for a next term start. This is a rewarding one-to-one role supporting a pupil with significant behavioural, emotional and additional learning needs.
We're looking for someone who can bring calmness, consistency and confidence to every interaction. Someone who understands that progress isn't always measured in academic achievements alone, but in the small victories that help a child move forward. Whether that's successfully transitioning between activities, building positive relationships or developing strategies to regulate emotions, every step matters.
Working alongside the class teacher, SENCO and wider pastoral team, you'll deliver tailored support throughout the school day, helping the pupil access learning, develop social and emotional skills and experience success within the classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
