Job summary

Kedleston Group, via Silverways School in Enfield, is seeking a Behaviour & Pastoral Lead to support pupils, families and staff with positive behaviour, wellbeing and attendance. You will collaborate with professionals to implement robust support plans and safeguarding practices.

You will lead the pastoral team, contribute to pupil voice, and help coordinate assemblies and enrichment activities. A compassionate, organised, and communicative leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable pupils.
• Understanding trauma and neurodiversity.
• Ability to develop and review individual support plans.
• Experience working with families and external professionals.
• Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to develop positive behaviour, attendance and engagement.
• Work with families and professionals to implement support.
• Promote pupil wellbeing and mental health.
• Provide guidance to colleagues for consistent approaches.
• Develop and review support plans and risk assessments.
• Use data to identify additional needs.
• Support safeguarding as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Line manage pastoral team members.
• Support pupil voice through Junior Leadership Team.
• Oversee mentoring and assemblies/enrichment.
