Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Rochdale is seeking a calm, confident Behaviour Mentor to join a fantastic secondary academy. You will support students with behaviour, engagement and emotional needs, working closely with the pastoral team to help them stay focused and ready to learn.

The role is an immediate-start supply position, with full training provided and ongoing support. Experience with teens in schools or community settings is ideal, and a DBS check is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of recent experience as a teaching assistant in a UK school, with detailed references
• Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply) and Overseas Police Checks if applicable
• CV with full employment and education history, with gaps explained
• Legal right to work full-time in the UK with no restrictions

Responsibilities

• Support students with behaviour, engagement, emotional needs and confidence building
• Work with the pastoral team to help students stay focused, safe and ready to learn
• Provide calm, patient, empathetic support in challenging situations
