Qualifications

• Current Team Teach training – essential for some roles.
• Experience in SEN, SEMH, PRU, AP or specialist school settings.
• Experience supporting challenging behaviour or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support teams
• Helping pupils engage with learning and build independence
• Following individual behaviour and support plans
• Creating a safe, calm and supportive environment
