Job summary

Teach360 is seeking an experienced Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) for a mainstream secondary school in Lewisham. You will provide behaviour and pastoral support, including 1:1 and in-class assistance, to students with challenging behaviour.

ASAP start available; experience with young people and strong rapport-building is essential. Training in Team Teach or physical intervention is desirable and helps in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills are essential.
• Team Teach/ Physical Intervention training is desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, in-class and outside-class support to students.
• Support students with challenging behaviour and build rapport.
• Collaborate with the Behaviour Support Team to maintain a positive learning environment.
