Job summary

Teach360 is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) to join a mainstream secondary school in Bromley on an ASAP start. You will provide 1:1, in-class and outside-class support to students, focusing on behaviour and pastoral care to help them stay engaged.

The successful candidate will work with pupils displaying challenging behaviour, building strong rapport and handling situations with calm, consistent approaches.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Team Teach/Physical Intervention training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, in-class and outside-class support to students.
• Work with students with challenging behaviour and build rapport with them.
• Collaborate with the school's behavioural team to promote positive outcomes.

• Youth Worker Required for a Mainstream Secondary School in the borough of Bromley


• Youth Worker required to work with students to provide behavioural and pastoral support


• Youth Worker required to have at least 1 years' experience with young people, ideally in a school setting


• Youth Worker must have strong behaviour management skills


• Youth Worker ideally be Team Teach/ Physical Intervention Trained

You will have the knowledge and experience of providing support to students that come from different walks of life. You will be required to provide 1:1, in class and outside class support to your students. You will be working closely with students with challenging behaviour and therefore will carry a good understanding of how to build a good rapport with your students. Team Teach or physical restraining training is desirable for this role.
