Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming Primary and Nursery School in Enfield, North London. You will support pupils with SEMH needs, ASD, ADHD, and emotional regulation, working with staff to deliver targeted interventions across Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1.

The role is full-time but term-time only, with start ASAP or next academic term. You will apply trauma-informed approaches, maintain records, and collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Primary, Nursery or EYFS setting.
• Knowledge of SEND, SEMH and early childhood development.
• Nurturing and consistent approach to behaviour support.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted 1:1 behavioural and emotional support.
• Deliver small group interventions focused on emotional literacy and social skills.
• Support children within Nursery and classroom settings.
• Assist pupils during transitions and changes in routine.
• Observe, assess, and track pupil behaviour and progress.
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to review meetings.
