Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for a Primary & Nursery school in Aylestone, Leicester. The role is full-time, term-time only, with immediate start possible.

You will work across Nursery, Reception, and KS1 to support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs. Key duties include 1:1 support, small-group interventions, and collaboration with staff and parents to implement consistent strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in Primary, Nursery, or EYFS settings.
• Knowledge of SEND, SEMH, ADHD, ASD.
• Ability to deliver behaviour interventions and monitor outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavioural and emotional support to pupils in Nursery, Reception, and KS1.
• Lead small group sessions focused on social skills, emotional literacy, and self-regulation.
• Support classroom activities during transitions, lunchtimes, and unstructured periods.
• Observe, assess, and record pupil progress and intervention outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and parents to ensure consistent behaviour strategies.
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies consistently.
