Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural or emotional needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach to challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to remain professional and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support.
• Build positive relationships with students who require extra guidance.
• Support students with emotional, social, and behavioural needs.
• Help de-escalate challenging situations using positive behaviour strategies.
• Encourage engagement, attendance, and participation in learning.
• Work with teachers, pastoral teams, SEN staff, and parents to support progress.
