Job summary

Reeson Education is helping a London-area school recruit a Behaviour Mentor for a full-time role starting September 2026. You will work with pupils to support learning, manage behaviour and improve punctuality and attendance.

The position includes supervision during breaks and after school, plus some admin duties and first aid responsibilities. The school is outstanding with strong academic results and excellent facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in secondary schools or degree level education is desirable.
• Ability to relate to young people in a firm but calm manner.
• Strong communication skills with adults and pupils.
• Willingness to learn First Aid and act as a First Aider
• Commitment to safeguarding and equal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Promote, manage and maintain positive student behaviour.
• Patrol the school to ensure pupils are in class.
• Supervise at break time, lunchtime and after school to ensure safety and health standards.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Support in managing the Exclusion Room as needed.
