Job summary

Derby Moor Spencer Academy in Heanor is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and reliable individual to work within our Behaviour and Inclusion team, supporting students including those with SEND or needing additional social and emotional support.

The successful candidate will support students in mainstream classrooms and during small group interventions, and will lead tailored interventions aimed at reintegration and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• A high level of competency is essential. Ideally the candidate will have experience of working within education.

About this Role

We are seeking to appointan enthusiastic, committed and reliable individual to work within a successful,forward thinking Behaviour and Inclusion team. The role will involveworking with a range of students including those with SEND or those who mayneed additional support with their social and emotional regulation.

The successful candidate will support students both in mainstream classrooms and during small group interventions. The successful person will also carry responsibility for the leadership of tailored interventions, including:

• Leadinginterventions for students to enable a successful reintegration into themainstream classroom.
• Contributingtowards the strategic review and direction of interventions
• Tracking andmonitoring of students' progress on interventions

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who shares our ethos of supporting alllearners to achieve their full potential and raises aspiration. A high level ofcompetency is essential. Ideally the candidate will have experience of working within education.
