Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking a SEND HLTA/Behaviour Mentor for a special needs school in the Southend-on-Sea area. The role involves supporting children with varied SEND needs, including ADHD and behavioural challenges, in both classroom and 1:1 settings. The post starts ASAP, with hours 8:00 to 4:00, five days a week.

You will work with a dedicated team in a school-based setting in East London, with opportunities for CPD and team-teach/SEND workshops through Empowering Learning Ltd.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Comfortable working with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Support children in a classroom setting or on a 1:1 basis.
• Work with challenging behaviour in a school environment.
• Support SEND needs across the classroom and one-to-one scenarios.

Empowering Learning Ltd are looking for SEND HLTA for a special needs school in Southend-on-Sea area and surrounding areas.

We are looking for outstanding and SEN experienced Teaching Assistants who are dedicated to supporting children in a classroom setting or on a 1:1 basis. The schools cater for children with varied SEND needs such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.

Role starting ASAP

The role is to work in a school based in Southend-on-Sea borough.

They are seeking a Higher-level TA, behaviour Mentor

Hours of work 8.00 to 4 pm.

Working with challenging behaviour.

Based in East London

Starting ASAPTo be considered for the position you must have the following:

• Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Comfortable working with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
• 5 days a week and able to commit to a contract 8 am start (this can not be changed)
