Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is recruiting a Behaviour Mentor / SEND HLTA for a special needs school in Farnborough and surrounding areas. The role involves supporting children with varied SEND needs, including ADHD and learning difficulties, in a classroom setting or 1:1, with a focus on consistent behaviour support and safeguarding.

You will join a dedicated team, work 8.30 to 4pm during term time, five days a week, and commit to a full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Comfortable working with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
• 5 days a week and able to commit to a contract 8.30 starts full time term time only.

Responsibilities

• Support children with varied SEND needs in a classroom setting or 1:1.
• Contribute to positive behaviour management and safeguarding.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support learning goals.

We are looking for outstanding and SEN experienced Teaching Assistants who are dedicated to supporting children in a classroom setting or on a 1:1 basis. The schools cater for children with varied SEND needs such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.

Role Details

The role is to work in a school.

They are seeking a Higher-level TA, Learning Support

Hours of work 8.30 to 4 pm.
