Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking a SEND HLTA for a special needs school in the Southend-on-Sea area. The role involves supporting children with varied SEND needs and implementing strategies in both classroom and 1:1 settings.

The position is based in East London/Southend area with hours from 8:00 to 16:00. The ideal candidate will have SEND experience, the ability to manage challenging behaviour, and excellent interpersonal skills to work with staff and students.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support children with learning needs in a classroom or 1:1 setting.

Empowering Learning Ltd are looking for SEND HLTA for a special needs school in Southend-on-Sea area and surrounding areas.

We are looking for outstanding and SEN experienced Teaching Assistants who are dedicated to supporting children in a classroom setting or on a 1:1 basis. The schools cater for children with varied SEND needs such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.

Role starting ASAP

The role is to work in a school based in Southend-on-Sea borough.

• They are seeking a Higher-level TA, behaviour Mentor
• Hours of work 8.00 to 4 pm.
• Working with challenging behaviour.
• Based in East London
• Starting ASAP

To be considered for the position you must have the following:

• Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Comfortable working with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
• 5 days a week and able to commit to a contract 8 am start (this can not be changed)
