Job summary

Broadoak Academy in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a fixed-term Inclusion Supervisor to join the Inclusion Team. The role supervises students in the behaviour rooms and inclusion provision, using a calm, consistent approach to help them re-engage with learning and build positive behaviour.

The post is full-time, term time only plus inset days, with a 37-hour week, starting January 2027 and running until 31 August 2027. Visa sponsorship is not available, and pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above.
• Experience of working with young people in an educational or support setting.
• Commitment to improving life chances and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students within the inclusion provision and behaviour rooms.
• Manage behaviour and support learning in the behaviour rooms.
• Help students reflect on choices and re-engage with learning.
• Build strong relationships with students, families and staff.
• Work closely with staff, students and families to create a supportive, inclusive environment.
• Contribute to improving student outcomes, promoting inclusion and fostering a positive learning culture across the academy.
