Job summary

Harpenden Academy is seeking a Wrap Around Care Assistant for term-time activities, including Breakfast Club and After School Club. The role is casual, with flexible start dates and seasonal hours, designed to support children at the start and end of the day.

Hourly pay ranges £10.85–£12.71 plus Holiday Pay, with separate rates for under and over 21s. DBS check is noted; interviews date to be confirmed.

Term Time Only - Casual Contract

Breakfast Club: Monday - Friday, 7.00 - 8.30

After School Club: Monday - Thursday, 15.15 - 18:00

Friday 15.00 - 17.15

Hourly Rate: Under 21’s £10.85 + Holiday Pay

Over 21’s £12.71 + Holiday Pay

The wrap around provision at Harpenden Academy comprehensive provides the children with a home from home experience. It is responsible for ensuring the start and end of the day is a happy secure time for all who attend, and the children who attend develop firm friendships with each other and the staff.

We have a role available for a Wrap Around Assistant who would be able to do both Breakfast Club and After School Club.

Visits to the Clubs are warmly welcomed where you will be able to see the setting in operation.
