Job summary

Aston & Fincher Ltd, a long-established hair and beauty retailer in Bridgend, seeks a Store Assistant to help customers identify and buy products, restock shelves, and support the store team. You will handle orders, operating the till, and ensuring a clean, inviting shop floor.

The role emphasises high-quality customer service, accuracy, and teamwork within company procedures. 20.75 hours weekly with a pro-active, friendly approach to customers and deliveries in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality.
• Basic administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick customers order and serve customers.
• Keep shelves stocked and correctly priced.
• Use till / Retailer and invoicing of orders.
• Pack orders and assist with deliveries to stores/salons.
• Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising.
