Aston & Fincher Ltd in Leeds is seeking a friendly Store Assistant to help customers identify products, assist with purchases and support the store team to keep shelves stocked and appealing.

You will handle till transactions, pack orders, assist with deliveries and ensure accurate pricing while upholding company standards. The role is 39 hours per week, permanent, with 28 days’ holiday, a contributory pension and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Assistant
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Thorough and punctual
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
• Basic administration skills

Responsabilités

• Pick customers order
• Ensure all products are clean and correctly priced
• Stock is put out on shelf to company procedures
• Count stock accurately
• Use of till / Retailer
• Pack all orders in-line with the company procedures
• Assist and arrange for items to be dispatched
• Answering the phone
• Invoicing of orders through our till system
• Keep up to date with all promotional activity
• Merchandising within the company guidelines
• Build on customer telephone orders
• Assist with deliveries of stock coming into store
• Transfer stock in / out to stores/suppliers
• To help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• To make deliveries to salons within your area when necessary
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies' policies and procedures
