Job summary

Zachary Daniels in the United Kingdom is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager for the Cardiff area within our growing beauty brand portfolio. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with beauty professional customers and drive revenue across new and existing accounts.

This field-based role requires a confident, target-driven professional with strong CRM and reporting skills, willing to travel regularly and hold a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Development or Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Aesthetics, Salons, Wellness or FMCG.
• Strong B2B sales experience from other sectors will be considered.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel regularly in the field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new business opportunities across beauty establishments.
• Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, prospecting, events and social selling.
• Arrange and conduct meetings, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Build compelling commercial proposals and negotiate new partnerships.
• Successfully convert prospects into long-term customers.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling and additional product ranges.
• Understand each customer's commercial objectives and create tailored growth plans.
• Regularly review account performance and identify opportunities for further development.
• Take ownership of your sales territory and pipeline.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Attend industry events, networking opportunities, exhibitions and brand activations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and reporting.
• Work closely with marketing and wider commercial teams to support campaigns and new product launches.
