Zachary Daniels Recruitment is collaborating with a global beauty brand to recruit a Business Development Manager in Cardiff and surrounding areas. You will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with beauty professionals and growing revenue across accounts.

The role suits someone with B2B sales experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, aesthetics, or FMCG, with field-based duties and regular travel. Training and product events are part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new business opportunities across beauty establishments.
• Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, prospecting, events and social selling.
• Arrange and conduct meetings, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Build compelling commercial proposals and negotiate new partnerships.
• Successfully convert prospects into long-term customers.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling and additional product ranges.
• Understand each customer's commercial objectives and create tailored growth plans.
• Regularly review account performance and identify opportunities for further development.
• Take ownership of your sales territory and pipeline.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Attend industry events, networking opportunities, exhibitions and brand activations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and reporting.
• Work closely with marketing and wider commercial teams to support campaigns and new product launches.
