Job summary

The Celtic Collection at Coldra Court Hotel in Wales is seeking a dedicated Bartender to join our fast-paced Food & Beverage team. You will deliver friendly, professional bar service, prepare a range of beverages and upsell where appropriate while keeping the area welcoming.

The ideal candidate has hospitality experience, excellent communication, a positive team spirit and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Basic Food Hygiene is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a bar, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• A passion for customer service and creating great guest experiences.
• Good knowledge of beverages and bar service, or a willingness to learn.
• A positive, enthusiastic and team-focused attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy periods as required.
• Basic Food Hygiene certification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional and efficient bar service to guests.
• Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere in the bar and restaurant areas.
• Build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Support the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Contribute to departmental targets through excellent service and upselling opportunities where appropriate.
