Mercure Manchester Norton Grange Hotel and Spa is seeking an enthusiastic Bar staff member to join its team. You will be the face of our bars and contribute to delivering excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include taking and serving orders, maintaining bar cleanliness, and collaborating with restaurant staff to upsell products. You must be 18+ to legally serve alcohol and can commute from Rochdale or relocate as needed.

The 4-star Mercure Manchester Norton Grange Hotel and Spa is set in tranquil countryside and its own landscaped grounds. Situated 8 miles from the city centre, this Manchester hotel has 81 contemporary guest rooms, each with wireless internet and satellite TV. The dining options include the elegant Grange Restaurant, or the less formal Pickwick Bistro. The hotel has a spa facility, with an indoor heated pool, fitness room and massage treatments. The function rooms welcome up to 220 guests.

Job Description

We are looking for a competent Bar staff to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurants, bars and conference and events and be responsible for our customers’ experiences.

Bar tender responsibilities include ensuring our Bars are clean and tidy when guests arrive. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you.

Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.
