Job summary

Maki & Ramen in the United Kingdom is hiring a Bartender with Front of House experience to join our growing Japanese-inspired brand. The role covers preparing and serving beverages, taking orders, and delivering warm, professional service to guests.

Typical hours are 30-40 per week with negotiable shifts; pay ranges from £11.00 to £12.71 per hour, up to £13.50 with tips. Commencement ASAP and full-time/part-time and zero hours options are available.

Qualifications

• 1 year hospitality experience preferred.
• Front of House experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic math and POS knowledge.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard.
• Provide warm, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
• Take drink and food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage the bar area, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.
• Handle payments and process transactions correctly.
• Support front-of-house operations by greeting, seating, and assisting guests when required.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and courteously.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, and safety standards.

• Basic math and POS system knowledge
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
