Job summary

Maki & Ramen in London is seeking a dedicated Full Time Kitchen Assistant to launch and shape the new site. You will support chefs with prep, keep areas clean, and help with stock during service.

The role offers a competitive salary with tips, negotiable hours, and a team-focused environment. Prior kitchen experience is welcomed but not required, with food safety basics valued.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good physical stamina and time management
• Quick learner with attention to detail
• Previous kitchen experience (a plus, not required)
• Food safety certification (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Support chefs with food prep (chopping, washing, etc.)
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organized
• Assist with stock rotation and ingredient storage
• Wash dishes and sanitize equipment
• Dispose of waste properly and follow hygiene standards
• Restock supplies as needed during service

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.00 (typical earnings up to £14-£15 with tips)

Hours: 45-50 per week (hours are negotiable)
