LHM Luxury Hotel Management Ltd is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor for its premium hotel bar and cocktail lounge in Lincoln. You will lead a team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and deliver high standards of service during busy periods.

The role requires bar supervisory experience, leadership and outstanding hospitality skills, with a strong track record in cocktails, wines and guest relations. In-person work with shift rotations and tips/service charge.

BAR SUPERVISOR WANTED FOR PREMIUM HOTEL BAR & COCKTAIL LOUNGE

Located in the heart of Lincoln's historic Cathedral Quarter on the Bailgate, we are looking for an experienced, professional, enthusiastic and motivated Bar Supervisor to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong bar experience, leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a premium hotel environment.

Your duties will includebut are not limited to:

• Supervising and supporting the bar team during service
• Leading by example to deliver outstanding customer service
• Greeting customers and ensuring they receive a warm welcome
• Drink preparation and service, including cocktails, wines, spirits and draught products
• Assisting with staff training and development
• Ensuring service standards and company procedures are consistently followed
• Managing customer queries and resolving issues professionally
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the bar and lounge areas
• Stock monitoring, rotation and replenishment
• Cash handling and end of shift procedures
• Serving bar food and supporting food service where required
• Upselling and recommending drinks, food and promotional items
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health & safety requirements and hotel policies
• Supporting management in achieving sales targets and service objectives
• Standing for extended periods within a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Smart appearance and professional manner
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for customer service
• Previous bar supervisory experience preferred
• Strong bar and hospitality experience essential
• Experience serving cocktails, wines, spirits and draught products
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Numeracy and cash handling experience
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends

Training and ongoing support will be provided; however, applicants must have relevant bar experience.
