Job summary

The Flour Pot Bakery in Worthing is seeking a passionate Barista/Front of House team member to join our growing team. You will provide outstanding customer service, craft high-quality coffee, and keep the shop welcoming for every guest.

You will work 3–4 shifts per week on early hours, with duties including beverage preparation, POS transactions, stock checks, and maintaining cleanliness. Training is provided, and a friendly, proactive attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in barista or front-of-house preferred but training provided.
• Passion for coffee and baked goods and excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of coffee-making techniques and food safety standards is a plus.

The Flour Pot Bakery is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista/Front of House team member to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, and ensuring our store is a welcoming and vibrant space for customers. This is a part time role - based on - 3/4 shifts per week

6:30am - 3pm

6:30am -1pm

8am - 4:30pm

Store opening hours

Monday - Saturday - 7:30am - 4pm

Sunday - 8:30am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all customers feel welcome and valued.
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including expertly crafted coffee-based drinks.
• Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment with precision.
• Assist customers with menu choices and offer recommendations on our baked goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all front-of-house areas, including counters, tables, and equipment.
• Process transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Assist with stock management, including restocking display cases and ensuring freshness of products.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a barista or front-of-house role is preferred but not essential—training will be provided.
