Job summary

Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa, a four-star adults-only hotel overlooking Fistral Beach with the award-winning Fistral Spa and Dune Restaurant, is seeking staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role offers a starting rate of £12.75 per hour with a potential increase to £13.25 after probation and £50 in hotel vouchers. Staff receive spa, food & beverage, and bed & breakfast discounts, plus wellbeing and employee recognition schemes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest service to the highest standard for internal and external guests within the hotel.
• Maintain the company ethos in all work undertaken.
• Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and the utmost hospitality during their stay.

Job description

We are a four star adults only hotel overlooking Fistral Beach, home to award winning Fistral Spa as well as two rosette Dune Restaurant. We cater exclusively for adults and our award winning bar list is the perfect accompaniment to the jaw dropping ocean views.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Todeliver guest service to the highest standard for internal and externalguests within the Hotel at any time.
• Toensure the company ethos is at the forefront of all work undertaken.
• To beresponsible for the section of service you are given and as a task, completingthe work to the highest standard expected.
• To ensure allour guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the up most hospitalityand care during their stay with us – we aim to provide an unforgettableexperience
• To follow allhotel policies as outlined in your training manual:
• Serve foodand drinks, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards as set out for 5star standard.
• Keep up todate with current promotions and new products through training and briefings.
• Make guests aware of promotions on our food and drink range through training andself-study.
• To assist inany function or events set ups in accordance with procedures.
• To carry outwork for any function or event as instructed by your line manager.
• To maintainexemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordancewith company policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of allreception sales.
• To observeand comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygieneregulations.
• Ensure highstandards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with companypolicy.
• Topresent the company and yourself in a professional manner at all times whilstlinked to Boringdon Hall
• Tomaintain the highest hygiene standards in your personal presentation and mannerwhilst linked to Boringdon Hall.
• Toensure key legislation is complied with and followed.
• To ensure allcomplaints are minimised and handled professionally as in accordance with ourpolicies
• Toensure good working relationship with all other departments and communicateinformation throughout the hotel.
• To understand responsibilities in relation to FireProcedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
• All other duties as required
