Job summary

Dakota Hotels in Manchester is seeking a Bar Supervisor to lead our bar team with a passion for beverages and guest experience. You will supervise bartenders, hosts and floor team, ensuring service is polished and consistent.

You\'ll implement training, drive product knowledge, manage beverage orders and stock control, and lead by example with hands-on service, contributing to the brand\'s signature hospitality.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience working in a full-service, high-end restaurant and/or bar.
• At least 1 year’s experience training others in a Bar or Restaurant environment.
• Experience overseeing bar operations, team, and customer service
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wines and spirits is essential.
• Enthusiastic, positive culture promoter with attention to detail.
• Flexible with shift patterns and availability to suit business needs.
• Demonstrated research into our brand and desire to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct bar tenders, bar floor team, and hosts to maintain high standards.
• Implement training plans and on-the-job training to ensure polished service.
• Deliver beverage-focused training to develop team product knowledge.
• Support bar commercial operations including stock takes and placing beverage orders.
• Lead by example with hands-on service and hosting.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our food and beverage menu and allergens.
