Job summary

Dakota Hotels in Leeds is seeking a trained and passionate Bar Tender to join our Bar team. You will prepare and serve drinks, including classic and signature cocktails, and ensure the bar is ready for service.

You’ll bring at least one year of bar experience, a solid knowledge of cocktails, and a friendly, proactive approach. We offer a supportive environment with opportunities for development and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a bar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mixing classic cocktails.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service; full training provided.
• Outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently at pace and be proactive.
• Willing and able to pour, serve and sell alcohol.
• Enthusiastic with pride for the work and attention to detail.
• Flexible with shift patterns to meet business needs.
• Demonstrates genuine interest in Dakota Hotels brand and team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks per menu, including classic and signature cocktails, and set up bar for service.
• Carry out full bar close-down procedure and reset for next shift.
• Maintain knowledge of menu options and allergens to offer recommendations.
• Drive sales through excellent service and guest engagement.
• Support the bar floor team as needed.
