Job summary

Perle Hotels Limited is seeking a Bar Supervisor for The Snug team at The Bracken Hide Hotel. You will lead the bar operation, mentor the team, and ensure warm, seamless, and memorable service for every guest.

You will craft premium cocktails, manage stock and licensing compliance, and collaborate with the wider F&B team to deliver outstanding experiences. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience and a passion for Scotch whisky.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or senior bartender experience in a quality cocktail or hotel bar environment.
• Deep appreciation for spirits, cocktails, and Scotch whisky.
• Strong leadership skills, confident in guiding, motivating, and developing others.
• Creativity and eye for innovation in drinks and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the bar team through each shift, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high‑energy service.

• Collaborate on developing and updating cocktail menus, celebrating local and seasonal ingredients.

• Oversee stock control, ordering, and cellar management to maintain cost efficiency.
• Ensure the bar is always immaculate, well‑stocked, and compliant with licensing and health & safety standards.
• Work closely with the restaurant and wider F&B team to deliver seamless service across departments.
• Act as the bar lead in the absence of the F&B Manager, handling any operational issues confidently.
