Job summary

Flat Iron Square is the hospitality venue within Culinary Collective seeking a Bar Manager who will own the guest experience from welcome to last sip and lead from the bar with energy and precision.

You'll build rituals and standards to ensure great service happens consistently, manage the bar's daily rhythm, and drive commercial performance while maintaining brand integrity and guest warmth.

Responsibilities

• Own the full daily rhythm of the bar, including prep, service, and close.
• Lead floor planning and reservations strategy to maximise covers and pacing.
• Maintain licensing, EHO, H&S, and site presentation standards.
• Build and own opening/closing checklists and shift handover processes.
• Run engaging pre-service briefings with the team.
• Ensure cleanliness, lighting, music, pacing and timing meet high standards.
• Manage labour and cost with commercial insight through rotas.
• Maintain supplier relationships and keep equipment in order.
• Lead recruiting with intent, onboard and coach performance, and develop future leaders.
