Job summary

Harri Nightshade is seeking a Bar Manager to lead from the front, driving morale and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will manage the floor, develop the team and ensure confident service from hello to goodbye while shaping our drinks strategy and events.

You will have autonomy over bar specials, menus and events, working with the management team to drive sales and continually raise our standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bartender or Head Bartender in a quality hospitality setting.
• Genuine passion for cocktails, drinks and guest experiences.
• Creative mindset for developing new drinks, specials, menus and events.
• Confident leadership to motivate and inspire a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team, setting energy, professionalism and service standards.
• Drive morale and create a positive, engaging environment.
• Deliver warm, knowledgeable guest service throughout the visit.
• Elevate service standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Prepare and serve high-quality beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
• Interact with guests, take orders and recommend drinks.
• Mix, garnish and present drinks to a high standard.
• Develop bar specials, menus and events with autonomy.
• Support planning and delivery of bar events to drive engagement and sales.
• Drive sales through product knowledge and upselling.
• Lead by example to meet commercial and operational targets.
• Assist with opening/closing, cleanliness, organisation and stock.
• Train and coach team members, ensuring consistency.
• Keep the bar organised, stocked and compliant with safety rules.
