Job summary

Caravan in London is seeking a Bar Manager to lead a busy team with passion for great coffee, food and guest experience. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and Head Chef to develop your team and deliver our Caravan of Love service.

Experience with Fourth, FnB or Harri is welcomed, and you’ll help ensure legal compliance, training and exceptional service while supporting expansion across our future openings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Caravan of Love customer experience with your team and serve well-travelled drinks and food.
• Work with the General Manager and Head Chef to nurture and develop your team.
• Own learning to develop knowledge and take ownership of your role and restaurant.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, weights and measures, health and safety, and fire procedures.
• Welcome customers, take orders, make recommendations, and train key team members.
• Guide, coach, and support teams to maintain exceptional service.

Up to £18.60 per hour, dependent on experience.

As a Caravan Bar Manager you will be responsible for;

• Delivering our 'Caravan of Love' style of customer experience with your team and serving up our 'well-travelled' food and drink, which is inspired by flavours from our founders' native New Zealand, as well as their global travels.
• Working with your General Manager and Head Chef to nurture and develop your team.
• Your own learning in order to develop your knowledge and skills and take ownership of your role and your restaurant.
• We work with Fourth, FnB and Harri so it would be great if you have experience with these systems, although we can always show you the ropes if you haven't.
• Follow all legal requirements regarding weights and measures, licensing laws, health, and safety as well as fire procedures.
• Welcoming customers, taking drinks orders, making recommendations, and serving our well-travelled drinks that delight our guests.
• Training and development of key team members.
• Guide, coach, and support teams during service, to develop teamwork and ensure the standard of service is always exceptional.
