Job summary

Caravan Covent Garden is seeking a Bar Manager to lead and inspire our bar team, delivering a warm, well-travelled service that reflects Caravan’s unique style. You will welcome guests from the first impression and skillfully manage beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and profitability.

You will train and develop team members, collaborate with senior management, and ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards while embracing Caravan’s values and vibrant culture.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering bar service at a high-volume venue.

Bar Manager

Up to £18.60 per hour, dependent on experience.

As a Caravan Bar Manager you will be responsible for;

• Delivering our ‘Caravan of Love’ style of customer experience with your team and serving up our ‘well-travelled’ food and drink, which is inspired by flavours from our founders’ native New Zealand, as well as their global travels.
• Working with your General Manager and Head Chef to nurture and develop your team.
• Your own learning in order to develop your knowledge and skills and take ownership of your role and your restaurant.
• We work with Fourth, FnB and Harri so it would be great if you have experience with these systems, although we can always show you the ropes if you haven’t.
• Follow all legal requirements regarding weights and measures, licensing laws, health, and safety as well as fire procedures.
• Welcoming customers, taking drinks orders, making recommendations, and serving our well-travelled drinks that delight our guests.
• Training and development of key team members.
• Guide, coach, and support teams during service, to develop teamwork and ensure the standard of service is always exceptional.
