Job summary

The Londoner in London is seeking a proactive Bar Back to join our rooftop bar, 8 at The Londoner. You will support the bar team with mis en place, stock levels and keeping the area clean and inviting for guests.

The ideal candidate has prior bar back experience in a high-end setting, shows excellent attention to detail and customer service, and communicates in flawless English. Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous bar back experience in a high-end liquor-led operation is ideal; training will be provided.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Impeccable command of English written and spoken.
• Understands the value of teamwork and works well with others.

Responsibilities

• Support the bar team by ensuring mis en place is prepared at the start of each shift.
• Keep the bar fully stocked and ensure adequate glassware for opening shifts.
• Maintain the bar area clean and tidy at all times and prevent obstructions.
• Assist bar tenders and help maintain a smooth service flow.

We are currently recruiting for a Bar Back to join our rooftop bar, 8 at The Londoner.

Overview

• An amazing opportunity to join the team in the bar team in 8 at The Londoner as a bar back.
• You will be working in a fast paced operation therefore speed and attention to detail are critical.
• You will support the bar team by ensuring that the correct mis enplace is in place at the beginning of every shift. This includes preparation for all cocktails, a fully stocked bar and enough glassware for the opening of the shift.
• You will then ensure that the bar is fully maintained at all times so that bar tenders so not run out of items.
• You will ensure that the bar area is kept clean and tidy and free of obstructions at all times.

About You
