The May Fair Bar at The May Fair Hotel in London is seeking a Bar Back to join our fast-paced luxury operation. You will support the bar team by ensuring mise en place for all shifts, maintaining a fully stocked bar and sufficient glassware for opening.

Strong attention to detail, excellent English and teamwork are essential. Previous bar back experience in a high-end liquor-led setting is ideal, with training provided to help you deliver outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mise en place for each shift and ensure a fully stocked bar.
• Maintain stock levels of all bar items and glassware.

• Support bartenders to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

We are currently recruiting for a Bar Back to join the iconic May Far Bar at the May Fair Hotel.

Overview:

• An amazing opportunity to join the team in the bar at The May Fair Bar as a bar back.
• You will be working in a fast paced operation therefore speed and attention to detail are critical.
• . You will support the bar team by ensuring that the correct mis enplace is in place at the beginning of every shift. This includes preparation for all cocktails, a fully stocked bar and enough glassware for the opening of the shift.
• . You will then ensure that the bar is fully maintained at all times so that bar tenders so not run out of items.
• . You will ensure that the bar area is kept clean and tidy and free of obstructions at all times.

About You:

• Previous bar back experience of working in a high-end liquor led bar operation is ideal. Training will however be provided.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Impeccable command of English both written and spoken.
• Understands the value of teamwork and works well with others.
