Job summary

The Londoner is recruiting a Bar Back for its rooftop bar, 8 at The Londoner, in a fast-paced, high-end setting. You will support the bar team by ensuring perfect mise en place at the start of every shift, keeping a fully stocked bar and sufficient glassware for opening hours.

We value excellent attention to detail and customer service, and you will work closely with colleagues to maintain a clean, efficient bar environment. English fluency is essential for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bar team by ensuring correct mis en place at the start of each shift (cocktail prep, fully stocked bar, glassware for opening).
• Maintain the bar area so bartenders do not run out of items.
• Keep the bar area clean, tidy and free of obstructions at all times.
• Support the bar operations to ensure a smooth service.

We are currently recruiting for a Bar Back to join our rooftop bar, 8 at The Londoner.

Overview:

• An amazing opportunity to join the team in the bar team in 8 at The Londoner as a bar back.
• You will be working in a fast paced operation therefore speed and attention to detail are critical.
• You will support the bar team by ensuring that the correct mis enplace is in place at the beginning of every shift. This includes preparation for all cocktails, a fully stocked bar and enough glassware for the opening of the shift.
• You will then ensure that the bar is fully maintained at all times so that bar tenders so not run out of items.
• You will ensure that the bar area is kept clean and tidy and free of obstructions at all times.

About You:

• Previous bar back experience of working in a high-end liquor led bar operation is ideal. Training will however be provided.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Impeccable command of English both written and spoken.
• Understands the value of teamwork and works well with others.
