Job summary

Serco Leisure is recruiting a Bar Assistant at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre. You will deliver friendly customer service, prepare and serve drinks, handle transactions, and help run the bar to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests.

Flexibility is required, including weekends, with opportunities to progress through Serco’s internal programmes and benefits such as pension and health support.

Hourly Rate: £10.85 to £12.71 plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Permanent, Casual hours with a flexible approach to working patterns, including weekends.

As a Bar Assistant in our Citizen Services team, you'll help create a welcoming environment for guests by delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the bar. Your work has purpose, helping ensure every customer enjoys a positive and memorable experience.

What You'll Do As a Bar Assistant

• Deliver excellent customer service to guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Prepare and serve drinks safely, efficiently, and in line with operational procedures
• Handle customer transactions accurately and responsibly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant bar environment
• Support the efficient operation of the venue and assist colleagues where required
• Help create a positive experience that keeps customers returning

• Level 2 Food Safety qualification is desirable
