Job summary

Loungers is hiring Front of House Team Members for Pontio Lounge, a local cafe bar. We offer up to £12.71 per hour plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one.

Experience isn’t essential—if you’re friendly and love hospitality, we’ll teach you the rest and help you grow with a supportive team. Join our Bar & Waiting team to welcome customers, serve food and drinks to spec, handle payments, and keep the bar prepared and clean.

• Experience in hospitality not required; friendly and kind welcome.
• Able to read customers and adapt your style to different settings.
• Strong communication and a can-do attitude is valued.

As part of our Bar & Waiting team, you'll be the sort of person who can read each customer effortlessly, adapting your style whether it's a quiet solo coffee or a table full of birthday cocktails. What You'll Do

• Welcoming customers and delivering warm, genuine hospitality from the moment they walk in
• Serving food to a high standard, making sure every dish lands just right
• Preparing and serving drinks to spec — coffees, cocktails, and everything in between
• Keeping the bar prepped, stocked, and clean throughout every shift
• Handling payments accurately and answering customer queries, including allergen questions, with confidence
