Job summary

The Commercial Hotel is seeking friendly and reliable hospitality team members to deliver standout dining and beverage experiences in ourRestaurant & Bar. You will support weddings and events at Cornhill Castle, while providing warm, efficient service on shift.

Role involves multitasking across food, drinks, and guest interactions, with opportunities for training and career development in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food and beverage is preferred.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard service in restaurant and bar areas.
• Prepare beverages and hot drinks for guests.

Our Restaurant & Bar Team are the ones delivering our Guests dining experience and they are responsible for delivering the standard of service expected.

We are also looking for confident, friendly and approachable team members to cover our functions and events, which mainly consist of Weddings at Cornhill Castle, on a regular basis to ensure our couples are receiving consistently great service on their special days!

On a quiet shift they can be found doing all the little jobs like cleaning, maintaining or training - the jobs that keep them up to date and our venues at the standard they should be. On a busy evening or weekend service they are wherever they are needed, making delicious cocktails, preparing hot drinks, serving coffees and cakes, running meals from the Kitchen or getting extra chairs for a large group.

Understanding the importance of teamwork, our team are great at multi-tasking, being experienced in all aspects of the Restaurant they know the hard work and attention to detail required.

All of our teams are highly engaged with all teams in the venue as well as the wider group and take a keen interest in the direction and journey of the business as a whole.
