Job summary

The Commercial Hotel in Glasgow is seeking Restaurant & Bar Team members to deliver guests dining experiences, working across bar, dining and service areas to uphold high standards.

On quiet shifts you’ll handle upkeep and small tasks; on busy nights you’ll craft cocktails, prepare hot drinks and serve pastries, while assisting with seating and running meals from the Kitchen. We reward your effort with a fair wage and tips fully retained.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or front-of-house roles is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a busy environment.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guests dining experience with high standard of service.
• Clean, maintain and assist on busy shifts, including seating and restocking.
• Mingle cocktails, hot drinks, coffees and cakes across bar and dining areas.

On a quiet shift they can be found doing all the little jobs like cleaning, maintaining or training – the jobs that keep them up to date and our venues at the standard they should be. On a busy evening or weekend service they are wherever they are needed, making delicious cocktails, preparing hot drinks, serving coffees and cakes, running meals from the Kitchen or getting extra chairs for a large group.

Understanding the importance of teamwork, our team are great at multi-tasking, being experienced in all aspects of the Restaurant they know the hard work and attention to detail required.

All of our teams are highly engaged with all teams in the venue as well as the wider group and take a keen interest in the direction and journey of the business as a whole.
