Job summary

The Commercial Hotel in Scotland seeks a Bar Supervisor who understands great service and beverage excellence. You will lead busy shifts, coach new team members, and ensure the bar runs smoothly while greeting guests.

You will drive the beverage service, work with the venue team and across our group, and contribute to our internal communications while upholding the hospitality standard we are known for.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or bar service preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, particularly Fridays and Saturdays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Our Bar Supervisor has their finger on the pulse when it comes to beverage in our venues. Responsible for complementing our Guests experience with a slick drinks service the Bar Supervisor is pivotal in delivering the standard of service we are known for.

On a quiet shift they can be found covering all areas of the Bar, but on a busier day they are meeting our Guests at the door, guiding and coaching new members of the team through a busy service, ensuring the bar service is running smooth at all times.

Understanding the importance of teamwork across their departments our Bar Supervisors are adept at multi-tasking, being experienced in all aspects of the Bar they know the hard work and attention to detail required.

You are highly engaged with the venue team as well as teams across the wider group and enjoy showcasing news and activities on our internal communication platform.

It is essential that you are 18 years old or over and happy to work nights on Friday and Saturday from 11pm to approx 3am, shift patterns will be discussed at Interview Stage.
