This full-time position as a Banking Solicitor (Asset Based Lending) sits within a leading national law firm in Birmingham. The successful lawyer, ideally with four or more years' post-qualification experience, will advise on asset-based lending transactions, working closely with Partners across a varied caseload. Responsibilities include drafting security documentation, reviewing facility agreements, and supporting clients through complex finance deals. Strong technical ability, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills are essential.

The salary ranges from £65,000 to £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join a highly rated banking team and focus on asset-based lending matters. As the appointed Banking Solicitor, you will be working closely with the Partners on a diverse mix of work advising lenders, banks, corporates on finance and security matters.

As the appointed Banking Solicitor, you will be dealing with real estate finance, capital markets, leveraged finance and corporate lending. Supporting the team on a varied caseload of matters you will be acting behalf of lenders, banks, corporates and fund managers which will offer you plenty of exposure to top-tier and high-value work.

THE CANDIDATE

Applications are sought from Banking Solicitors with asset-based lending experience and at least 4 years PQE. You will have gained relevant experience within a leading national, regional and/or city practice. With exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, the appointed Solicitor will be able to work well within a team and independently.
