Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust in Hereford is seeking a Bank Therapy Support Worker (Physiotherapy) to support inpatient therapy teams at Hereford County Hospital. You will work with Occupational & Physiotherapy on wards to promote rehabilitation and safe discharge, contributing to national campaigns and improving patient outcomes.

The role requires autonomous yet collaborative practice, with opportunities for development through professional appraisals and inter-professional learning.

Qualifications

• Relevant NVQ 3 level or equivalent.
• Care Certificate.
• Foundation Degree or High National Diploma Level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical/technical activities under supervision.
• Make fact-based judgements and suggest treatment progressions.
• Carry out duties with supervision and guidance as needed.
• Manage own caseload within supervisory arrangements.
