Home Group Limited in Maryport is seeking a Bank Supported Living Worker to assist customers with daily living tasks, helping them build independence and achieve their goals. This flexible bank role offers part-time hours and a contract basis, with support for planning and reviews.

You will help with budgeting, cooking, appointments, and preparing for move-on, while maintaining safety and person-centred care. A DBS check is provided and paid for by the employer.

Formación

• A level 2 or above in social care or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this.
• Passion to support customers to live their best life with attention to detail.
• Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally.
• Experience of working on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure and having a resilient approach.

What you'll do

• Assist customers with their daily living tasks developing their independence, achieve their goals aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans
• Support vulnerable customers in a variety of services
• Support customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments
• Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews
• Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community

You have

• A level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care or being willing to work towards this

The practical bits

• Flexible working hours
• You'll be based in Maryport.
• Using technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues.
• You'll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
