Prime Life is seeking passionate bank-based Support Workers to join our friendly team at Old Station Close, Shepshed. You will provide respectful and dignified care to residents with learning and physical disabilities and mental health conditions.

You will receive full training, a funded DBS, and a Holiday Pay scheme, plus a Refer a Friend bonus. The role requires patience, compassion, and a collaborative approach with other professionals to develop personalised care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable, full training is provided.
• Roles involve caring for residents with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health conditions.
• Candidates should be patient, understanding and respectful of residents' individual abilities.

Responsabilités

• Providing respectful and dignified support to residents
• Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them
• Providing companionship whilst giving emotional and practical support
• Assisting residents to participate in any decisions relating to their daily living arrangements
• Helping residents with day to day activities such as: assisting with personal care, recreational activities, accompanying residents outside of the home etc
• Promoting resident independence in the preparation of food and/or at mealtimes
• Working with other professionals to provide individualised care and development plans
