Voyage Care's Wisbech Highfield Rd service is recruiting Bank Support Workers to help people gain more independence. You'll be part of a friendly team, teaching daily living skills, assisting with personal care, and encouraging community participation.

Typical shifts 7:30am-2:30pm and 2:30pm-9:30pm; Full UK driving license preferred; DBS checks and references apply. The role offers £12.71 per hour with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends, plus premiums for overtime.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals with autism.
• Care-focused, resilient and flexible in approach.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain independence in daily living and enhance their quality of life.
• Assist with personal care and encourage community access and social participation.
• Support activities and outings, including swimming or arts and crafts.

Our supported living service Highfield Rd in Gorefield Wisbech are welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in taking them swimming or doing arts and crafts
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to some one's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with autism,
